NAD+

NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is a coenzyme present in every cell, essential for ATP energy production, DNA damage repair via sirtuins, and mitochondrial function. Injectable NAD+ bypasses GI breakdown for significantly higher bioavailability than oral forms. Levels decline with age — supplementing restores cellular energy capacity.

Concentration reference

Standard mix: 500mg vial + 2mL STERILE WATER (not BAC water) = 250mg/mL. Each 1mL = 250mg NAD+.

Draw volume

On insulin syringe

U-100 insulin syringe: 1 mL = 100 IU. Calculation for research reference only.

Injection sites

Subcutaneous abdomen, outer thigh, or upper arm. Inject slowly over 20–30 seconds — faster injection increases flush sensation. A 25–27 gauge needle is recommended (slightly wider than insulin needle) for comfort with larger volumes.

Timing

Morning strongly preferred — NAD+ can cause alertness/energy that disrupts sleep if injected in the evening. Do not inject within 4 hours of bedtime.

Cycle length

Can be run continuously. Common protocol: 30 days on, 7-day break, reassess and repeat.

Stacking

Pairs with Retatrutide or Tirzepatide for metabolic protocols. Pairs with BPC-157/TB-500 for comprehensive recovery stacks.

Warnings

  • Use STERILE WATER — not BAC water. Benzyl alcohol in BAC water degrades NAD+ significantly faster
  • Use within 7 days of mixing — NAD+ has a much shorter mixed stability than other peptides
  • Do not inject in the evening — energy-stimulating effects can impair sleep

Tips

  • Mild flushing or warmth at the injection site is normal and transient — inject slowly to minimize
  • Start at 125mg for first 2 sessions to assess response before moving to 250mg

Common stacks

Weight loss + energy

NAD+ supports mitochondrial function during fat loss. Semaglutide is an alternative primary.

Maximum weight loss

Triple agonist + cellular energy — most comprehensive metabolic protocol.

Longevity

Cellular energy + telomere support — comprehensive anti-aging stack.
